I've read and reviewed many language learning books from a few different companies. This is my first time seeing materials created by French Hacking. I must applaud them for the structure of their book!
They provide an introduction section that clearly defines the various types of words and verb tenses that will be explored for the duration of the book. I've been trying to learn languages my entire life but I have never experienced a material that so clearly outlines the difference between tenses. This might seem foolish to some but I genuinely appreciate it! Not everyone has the same learning style and not everyone can remember all the various definitions so easily. As a native English speaker, I had no idea what the formal terminology is for our various grammar rules. Thank you team!
